I hope that title caught your attention.
It caught mine!
It’s the title of a book I picked up just last month as I got started with this new online business.
The dedication at the start begins with “I lovingly dedicate this book to all the crap that ever happened to me.”
The guy is an Australian called Larry Winget, and he too has just started up an online blog at wait for it…. LarryWinget.net/blog/ – gosh aren’t we guys original.
Anyway Larry has moved on since 2004 when the book was written. He now has another book and a TV Show called “Big Spender” where he gets to ‘counsel’ people on their poor spending habits.
He has his own version of what ‘counseling’ is, and I think you might like it.
For example, if you want his take on running a household budget then you can have a look here.
Or if you just want a self help kick up the pants you might enjoy it too.

Have had the privilege of listening to Larry Winget at Successful Selling an annual event organised by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.
He tells it straight with a great deal of humour – his message is clear and worth listening to

I like this approach – simple and direct. This approach will likely result in more poeple trying to get a handle on their budgets, which is something that should be taught in high school classes so that everyone is schooled on it early in life.
Larry Winget is straightforward and to the point. There’s no shortcut or magic pill to fix a problem which I know several people who would hate that type of answer. If more people followed his advice, we’d probably be in much better shape!
As Bob Newhart said, ‘Stop It!’

Being positive in everyday life has abled me to have a wide variety of interest and has made my life a full and happy one. From professional soldier to med Lab Tech to police commander, drug sales rep, high school teacher, insurance sales and now back to director of a medical lab. Boy have I had fun. My Masters at the age of 52.
Thanks for reminding me about Larry Winget. I had heard his books mentioned recently by someone currently earning about three million per year in cash flow. Larry’s ‘tell it like it is’ advice just makes sense.
