It takes much more courage to step in front of that man and say no.

I have to agree. I coward wields a gun. A hero doesn’t need one.

I must agree even our national hero believes on that you don’t need a weapon for you to become hero, pen is mightier than the sword.
Very brave girl, unfortunately until the US says enough is enough there is pretty much nothing anyone can do. If she had been shot I’m sure nobody would have raised an eyelid, business as usual in the middle east.
I agree with you Gareth in the big picture, however in microcosm I’m sure she helped a few people to live a little longer. For many of us, we may only be able to impact our own small piece of the world. And I hope more people take on her inspiration. The Occupy movement for one.
